According to meteorologists, windy and dry conditions, with near record warm temperatures will result in Near Critical fire weather conditions on Friday.
KOCO Meteorologist Jonathan Conder says although western Oklahoma will see nice temperatures, its probably not a warm day you can enjoy outside because of the wind.
Meteorologist have already issued a Fire Weather Watch for much of western Oklahoma, including Beckham, Custer, Washita, and Roger Mills Counties for Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m. with it set to expire at 6:00 p.m.
Meteorologist say Friday will be unseasonably warm by 20 to 30 degrees above average. Many will soar into the upper 70s and low to mid 80s. Skies will remain mostly sunny to partly cloudy.
