Major Gift to SWOSU Bulldog Angels Fund Announced

William (Bill) Morris and his wife Gail, of Wichita, Kansas have made a major gift to the Bulldog Angels Fund at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU).

The Bulldog Angels Fund was established by 2014 SWOSU Distinguished Alumnus and Carnegie native Bill Howell to benefit SWOSU students in times of crisis.

Garrett King, Executive Director of the SWOSU Foundation, Inc., said the Bulldog Angels Fund is a vital resource when all other options for assistance are exhausted or unavailable.

Bill Morris is a 1974 SWOSU graduate. The Morrises are long-time benefactors of SWOSU, supporting many philanthropic programs of the university including the Loftin Women’s Basketball Endowment and the SWOSU Football program in addition to the SWOSU Bulldog Angels Fund.

The Bulldog Angels Fund was established in 2014 by Bill, Deborah, and Blake Howell to benefit SWOSU students in times of crisis. Since its inception, the Bulldog Angels Fund has assisted hundreds of students when all other options for assistance are exhausted or unavailable. The Bulldog Angels Fund helps students with extreme financial pressures to stay enrolled in classes and on campus.
