The Elk City Commission is scheduled to meet in regular session on Monday night and among the items the Commissioners will consider include the design of the Aquatic Center.
City Manager Tom Ivester says representatives from Joe D. Hall General Contractors along with Studio Architecture will be at the meeting to present and discuss the proposed plans.
Ivester said that the final cost of the project will not be determined until bids have been accepted.
The Commission will also consider a payment to Studio Architecture in the amount of $15,000, along with a payment to Joe D. Hall General Contractors for a little over $51,550 for demolition work completed at the pool location in Ackley Park.
In other business, the Commission will consider a bid received from Culver Electric for replacement interstate lights at the Main Street exit and exit 41 for a total amount of $75,000.
Monday’s meeting inside city hall is scheduled to take place at 7p.m.
