Shamrock Trio Perish in Weekend Crash

The Texas Department of Safety is investigating a fatal crash that took the lives of three Shamrock, Texas residents over the weekend.

According to DPS officials, the two vehicle wreck took place in the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Carson County, Texas – eight miles east of Conway, Texas when the vehicle driven by 43-year-old Jeremy Lewis failed to control its speed and struck the back end of a semi-trailer that had slowed down due to a crash further down the road.

DPS said the driver, along with 18-year-old Benjamin Lewis and a 12-year-old all died on the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
