Elk City Shoppers Have Parking Options Downtown

Now that the water line project on Elk City’s Main Street has begun, many are asking how do people access the businesses on Main?

City Manager Tom Ivester says parking on Main Street will be affected one block at a time and says there are other parking and business entrance options for the public during the construction process.

Ivester said the multi-phase project will see crews working south down Main Street to 7th Street. He said each block will take 3 – 4 weeks to complete.
