Shattuck Lady Indians Win 4th Class 2A Slow Pitch Title with Offensive Onslaught, Canute Trojanettes Finish with Silver Ball

The Canute Trojanettes and Shattuck Lady Indians faced off yesterday in Oklahoma City for the Class 2A slow pitch title. After an exciting journey, Canute made it to the finals with a walk-off homerun from Kylie Smith in an 11-10 quarterfinal win over Sterling, and a hard-fought 10-8 victory over Binger-Oney in the semis. Meanwhile, Shattuck powered their way to the championship game with a 13-1 quarterfinal win against Central High and a commanding 15-9 victory over Cyril in the semifinals.

In the title game, Shattuck continued their offensive onslaught with a dominant 19-7 victory, earning the Lady Indians their 4th slow-pitch title. Despite the loss, Canute had an impressive season with 30 wins and a well-deserved silver ball.
