Elk City Elkette Golf got the season underway yesterday on a cold, blustery day down in Marlow at Generations Golf Course.
The Brown and White won a team playoff for 3rd over Marlow’s B team to take home a trophy in their first outing this spring. Elk City shot a team score of 393.
Individually Brett Barnett was the medalist overall with a 88. Campbell Rainey fired 99. Caylin Burton shot 101 in her first tournament experience. Jaydon Manning came in with 105. Camryn Edney ended up with 109 but was a huge part of the team winning the playoff. The Elkettes will continue tomorrow at Weatherford.
