Elk City’s middle school football team has been able to continue to play some games even though the Big Elks have been on the shelf for a couple weeks with coronavirus issues. The 7th Grade Elks finished up an unbeaten season last night with a 32-14 win over Cache. In their five wins, the defense gave up double digits only twice. Their average margin of victory was 25-8.
The 8th grade Elks were very successful as well. They finished up a 4-1 campaign with a 24-8 win over Cache. The 8th graders also only gave up double digits twice, outscoring their opponents by an average score of 20-12. It’s exciting to see the pipeline to the Big Elks program looking strong with the middle school teams.
