It was a clean sweep of the player of the year awards in college softball for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Jocelyn Alo was named the 2022 Collegiate player of the Year. Jordy Bahl is the freshman of the year. It’s the second straight season OU has swept these two awards. There was some good news today regarding Bahl’s status for the WCWS. Head Coach Patti Gasso said in her pre tournament press conference that Bahl would be available for the tournament is some kind of capacity.
The WCWS begins tomorrow in OKC. Oklahoma plays the second game of the day at 1:30 against Northwestern. Oklahoma St gets the nightcap at 8:30 against Arizona.
