It’s an All SEC affair tonight in Indy to decide college football’s National Champion. Georgia and Alabama will meet for the second time in the CFP final.
Bama comes in 12-1, SEC champs and defeated Georgia 41-24 a month ago in the SEC title game. Georgia’s 12-1 as well coming off a pasting of Michigan in the semifinals. Bama’s won the last 7 against the Bulldogs dating back to Nick Saban’s first year in 2007.
The Crimson Tide will play for their 6th national championship in the 8 years of the playoff’s existence. They’ve won 3 of the first 7 national titles and 6 in Nick Saban’s 14 year tenure. Georgia’s looking for the first national championship since 1980. Kickoff tonight between the Dawgs and Tide is scheduled for 7.
