Wells do Well in Custer Co.

Continental Resources filed recent completion reports on a series of natural gas wells in western Oklahoma. In one case, three wells on a single Custer County pad produced nearly 45,000 Mcf a day of natural gas.

According to completion reports, the three Ko Kipp wells are located about 3 miles east of the town of Thomas.

Completed in January, the first well was the largest producer at 19,175 Mcf of natural gas a day along with 10 barrels of oil. It was spud in September of 2022.

The second well, produced 17,270 Mcf of gas a day along with one barrel of oil. It showed a spud in August 2022.

The third and final well on the pad produced 8,318 Mcf of natural gas a day. It also had a spud date in August 2022.

Combined daily production for the three Ko Kipp wells was 44,713 Mcf of natural gas.
