An Oklahoma City man is wanted in Custer County after being charged with one felony count of lewd or indecent acts to a child under the age of 16.

According to a probable cause affidavit, 25-year-old William Andrew Geddes Junior is wanted for the alleged crime after he allegedly inappropriately touched a 13-year-old girl several years ago. Court records show Clinton police were made aware of the incident by a cousin of the girl on June 25. She would tell police the incident took place at a Clinton home that she was renting.

During a forensic interview with the victim conducted by a detective with the Clinton Police Department, the victim disclosed that while spending the night at her cousin’s home, she woke to find the defendant lying behind her rubbing her back. She would tell the detective that Geddess allegedly kissed her before putting his hand down her pant and allegedly violated her.

The document stated that after the forensic interview, the detective would interview Geddes where he would deny the accusations and agreed to take a polygraph test. However before the test could be administered, Geddes would confess to authorities that he did what he was accused of.

Geddes would again confess to the crime to the Clinton detective.

An outstanding warrant for arrest for Geddes was issued last week in Custer County District Court.

Bail has been set at $20,000.
