Elk City City Manager Tom Ivester gave an update recently of ongoing construction projects taking place in the city.

He said that due to weather delays, the Aquatic Center that is currently under construction in Elk City’s Ackley Park could have a later than expected opening day, however he says he anticipates the project to be completed and opened to the public sometime this summer.

Ivester also says the water line replacement project taking place downtown is right on schedule.

Ivester says that project is scheduled to be completed at the end of June.
