Two Hollis juveniles were seriously injured in a two vehicle accident in Harmon County late Wednesday afternoon.
According to the collision report provide by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred 5 miles north and 1 mile west of Hollis at approximately 5p.m. when a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 32-year-old Colby Crawford of Hollis was involved in an accident with a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 38-year old Maria Cruz also of Hollis.
Troopers say as a result Cruz was transported to a nearby hospital and admitted in fair condition with trunk internal injuries. However, two of her three juvenile passengers were admitted into the hospital. The first, a 5-year-old boy was admitted in serious condition with head and trunk internal injuries and an 8-year-old girl was admitted in critical condition with similar injuries.
A 13-year-old boy along with an 11-year-old boy were treated and released.
Both the driver of the Silverado and his passenger were also treated for minor injuries and released.
OHP says the cause of the collision and the condition of both drivers remains under investigation.
