SWOSU Foundation Announces North Family Scholars

Twelve Parks and Recreation Management (PRM) students at Southwestern Oklahoma State University have been named North Family Scholars for Academic Year 2022-2023.

North Family Scholars each receive a scholarship award from the North Family Endowment. The North Family Endowment was established in 2021 by 1980 SWOSU alumnus Mike North of Oklahoma City and his wife, Marilyn Flinchum, to support the SWOSU PRM.

The 2022-2023 North Family Scholars at SWOSU are:

Garrett Blake, Sayre, Oklahoma, senior majoring in Parks and Wildlife Management and minoring in CLEET

Taylor Bonser, Weatherford, Oklahoma, junior majoring in Parks and Recreation and minoring in Wildland Firefighting

Avonlea Eagan, Arapaho, Oklahoma, senior majoring in Parks and Recreation Management and minoring in Business Interdisciplinary Studies

Lauren Faurie, Wichita Falls, Texas, senior majoring in Parks and Recreations Management and minoring in Natural Resource Management

Lydia Gearhart, Weatherford, Oklahoma, senior majoring in Parks and Wildlife Law Enforcement

Corbin Gordon, Yukon, Oklahoma, junior majoring in Parks and Wildlife Law Enforcement

Ryan Kellar, Weatherford, Oklahoma, junior majoring in Parks and Recreation

Clayton Kilgore, Sayre, Oklahoma, senior majoring in Parkers and Wildlife Law Enforcement
