Another house fire in Elk City allegedly sparked by a space heater.

According to reports, Elk City firefighters were called to a house fire in the 1300 block of W. Broadway Avenue early Monday afternoon.

On arrival, crews found heavy smoke in the home that led them to the source of the fire – a space heater.

The fire was quickly extinguished with a fire extinguisher and there was minimal damage to the home.
