With today being the “third wave” of winter precipitation for southern Oklahoma, the threat still remains for icy weather to find it’s way into the region tonight.

However, according to Meteorologist Max Ungar with the National Weather Service out of Norman, the latest forecast shows that that chance is going down.

If any precipitation comes to western Oklahoma, meteorologist expect that to start sometime between 6p.m. and 8p.m.

Currently there is a winter weather advisory in affect for much of the listening area until 6a.m. Thursday and again, drivers are urged to practice caution tomorrow morning on their commute.
