Sheriff Offers Halloween Safety Tips

It’s Halloween, which means little ghosts, goblins, princesses, and maybe even a clown or two will be wandering the neighborhoods looking for treats. Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning offers tips to help ensure you and your trick-or-treater stay safe tonight.

With the recent uptick in the trafficking of illegal fentanyl, Sheriff Manning urges parents to be especially vigilant with the candy being collected this year.

He also reminds residents that Halloween safety tips are available on the Beckham County Sheriff’s Department official app.
