Santa’s Christmas Hero 2025: Shelby Unruh Woods
Shelby truly embodies the joy and spirit of Santa through her constant service to others. She serves faithfully in her local church, leading children’s programming every Wednesday night and during Vacation Bible School. Shelby also serves on the board at Connections Food & Resource Center and volunteers at numerous school and community events.
She gives with such a caring and genuine heart that it inspires others to step in and help alongside her. If there is a need, Shelby is often already there, lending a hand without ever being asked.
Shelby is a true hero without the red suit, bringing cheer and hope to everyone she meets. She does all of this while working a full time job and raising a family. The communities of Hydro and Weatherford are incredibly fortunate to have her dedication and generosity.
As a thank you for her service, Shelby received $250 in cash, generously provided by Culver-Stone.
