Santa’s Christmas Hero: Abby Daniels
Abby Daniels is selfless, compassionate, and driven to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
Abby has always gone above and beyond to help others, not only through her work but also on her own time and at her own expense. No matter the hour, day, or situation, she steps in to help whenever she is needed. Those who know her say she has one of the biggest hearts they have ever encountered.
During the harsh winter of January 2025, Abby founded The Compassion Project, bringing together donations from local citizens and businesses throughout Elk City and surrounding communities. Through this effort, Abby and a team of volunteers were able to provide motel and hotel rooms for members of the homeless community, along with warm meals and essential supplies.
Her mission continues as she organizes a Coat, Sock, and Shoe Drive for children in need. Abby’s compassion, generosity, and dedication truly shine throughout our community.
As a thank you for her incredible service, Abby is receiving a gift certificate to Keith’s Butcher Shop, presented by Chy Johnston, “Chy the Repair Guy.”
