Rozell Announces Candidacy For Washita Co. Sheriff

A former educator and current Deputy has announced his intention to run for Sheriff of Washita County.

In an official statement on his Facebook page, Kevin Rozell threw his hat into the ring for the position.

A longtime resident of Washita County, Rozell graduated from Sentinel High School in 1987 and after obtaining his Master of Education from SWOSU, worked in education as a teacher and a principal at North Fork Correctional Facility in Sayre.

Rozell worked with the Department of Corrections as a Probation and Parole Officer and also as a Sentinel Police Officer, a Washita County Reserve Deputy and is currently a full-time deputy.

Rozell also owns a farming operation and raises cattle and wheat.
