Paint the Town Purple Week Raising Funds For Alzheimers Awareness

Paint the Town Purple” week continues throughout the week in Elk City.

Organizer Julie Western says multiple events are planned to take place in the area this week to bring awareness to alzheimer’s disease.

Western says all funds raised at the events will go towards local alzheimers support groups, financial aid assistance programs, and local scholarships.

She also says that 20% of funds raised this week will be donated to the Alzheimers Association of Oklahoma.
