As local candidates get ready for upcoming primary campaigns, many constituents in western Oklahoma are asking: what does the candidate stand for?

That question was posed to the two republican candidates running to represent District 57 in the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

Incumbent Anthony Moore from Clinton told Paragon Communications that not much has changed regarding his platform when compared to his first campaign back in 2020. He said this time, he’ll lean on the knowledge and experience he’s gained during his time at the state capitol.

Moore’s challenger, retired businesswoman Kristen Kelly Poission of Weatherford said two topics she’ll focus on include rural road maintenance and farmer’s land rights.

The primary election is scheduled for June 28.
