A Burns Flat man is wanted in Custer County after being charged with one felony count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

According to court records, 40-year-old Dallas Delayne Frank was charged on February 23 for the crime after allegedly attacking a woman.

A probable cause affidavit shows that the incident occurred on the afternoon of February 9 when police were dispatched to a home in the 400 block of Prairie Chief Ave. in Clinton in reference to a woman screaming for help.

When police arrived, the victim would tell them that her and the defendant would get into a verbal argument that escalated when Frank allegedly hit the woman in the back of the head with a pipe.

The affidavit stated that the victim was transported to Cordell Memorial where her injuries were treated.

It was reported by Clinton Police that visible swelling on the top of the victim’s head could be seen.

Online records show that Frank has a violent history where he has been charged multiple times in Custer County with domestic abuse.

As of press time, Frank has not been arrested.

Bond however, was set at $30,000.
