Local Students Represented Well on SWOSU Honor Rolls

The President’s and Dean’s Honor Rolls at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Sayre and Yukon have been announced for the 2023 spring semester. The spring 2023 honor rolls include students from 19 states and 16 countries from around the world.

Locally western Oklahoma students were represented well on this year’s list, with 21 students from Elk City, 28 from Clinton, 89 from Weatherford and 9 from Sayre on the Deans Honor Roll.

The President’s Honor Roll had 25 students from Elk City, 18 from Clinton, 75 from Weatherford and 7 from Sayre.

To qualify for the President’s Honor Roll, an undergraduate student must earn all A’s in 12 or more hours during a semester. There were 667 students named to the President’s Honor Roll during the spring semester.

There were 677 students on the Dean’s Honor Roll after completing 12 semester hours of undergraduate work with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher with no grade lower than a “C.”
