Fatal New Year’s Day Crash In Caddo Co.

A Carnegie man died Sunday after being involved in a single vehicle accident in Caddo County.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just before 9:30 a.m. near OK-9 and County Road 2615, 3 miles west of Anadarko when 68-year-old Kenny Stocking left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree.

Troopers said the driver was pronounced dead on the scene and that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

OHP also said that the cause of the crash and condition of the driver both remain under investigation.
