The water line replacement project taking place along Elk City’s Main Street is nearing completion.

City employee Jay Roberts says crews have been doing the final tie ins of the water line before moving on to another major project along Broadway Avenue.

The next step for Main Street will begin late this year when the Oklahoma Department of Transportation will begin their portion of the rehabilitation project by replacing, and improving, the street and sidewalks.
