During their upcoming regular meeting Monday night, the Elk City School Board will consider a bid for the sale of the Fairview Elementary building.

According to the posted agenda, the board will vote to approve or not approve the bid for the sale of the building located at 1502 W. 7th Street. If approved, the board will also take action to approve a real estate purchase contract for the sale of the property.

The site, along with Northeast Elementary, has remained vacant since the construction and opening of Elk City Elementary in 2017.

The board will also vote to employ or not employ 9 people for various positions throughout the district.

Monday night’s meeting at the school board office is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
