Elk City Commission To Consider Purchase of Large Amount of Land

The Elk City Commission is scheduled to meet in regular session tonight (Monday).

Items the Commission will consider include the approval or disapproval of the purchase of an 80 acre tract of land in the amount of $480,000. The Commission will also consider a bid received from Axtell Roofing Company for roof repair and replacement work at the Elk City Water Plant building in the amount of $83,000. Later, the Commission will consider a pay application for Orr Construction for the 2022 Water System Improvements project. The pending payment is for just over $391,000.

Tonight’s meeting in City Hall is scheduled to begin at 7p.m.
