Clinton City Council To Present Proposed Budget

The Clinton City Council is scheduled to meet in regular session tonight.

While acting as the Public Works Authority, the council will received a preliminary engineering report on the Clinton Lake Water Treatment Plant Chlorine Gas Storage and Feed Building from engineering firm Burns and McDonnell. The council will also consider the final payment of just over $31,000 to Fab Tech Wastewater Solutions Contractors.

During the regular meeting of the City Council, the city leaders will have a public hearing regarding the proposed budget for fiscal year 2022-2023.

The council will also consider a request of $8,000 from the Clinton Summer Playground program to go towards next summer’s activities.

Tonight’s meeting is scheduled to take place at 5:30 p.m. inside City Hall.
