City of Elk City Declares Popular Property as Surplus

During the latest meeting of the Elk City Commission, city officials approved to declare a vacant lot as surplus.

City Manager Tom Ivester said that the commonly refereed as “Centennial Square” property located behind Homeland will go to auction to the public soon – but there are some prerequisites.

In other business, the Commission did present the proposed 2022-2023 budget for the public to view and ask questions about. Ivester said the Commission will move to approve or not approve the budget during their next regularly scheduled meeting, next Wednesday.
