An Oklahoma City woman was hospitalized Friday afternoon after being involved in a one vehicle accident near Hydro.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just after 4 p.m. Friday on OK-58, 7 miles south of Hydro when for an unknown reason the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 56-year-old Margie A. Alexander departed the road to the left and struck a culvert. Troopers said the vehicle then overturned a 1/4 time landing on the drivers side.

As a result, Alexander was trapped in the vehicle for 30 minutes before being freed.
