Bryce Conway of Edmond (SWOSU Class of 1995) has been named to the Board of Trustees of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) Foundation, Inc.

In 2002, Conway founded Flex-Chem, a technology company recognized as a leader in providing innovative chemical solutions in the energy production industry. Flex-Chem maintains operations in Weatherford, Edmond, Ada and Pecos (TX).

Conway is the son of public-school administrators who worked in the Brownsville (TX) Independent School District. Conway graduated from high school in Brownsville and then studied chemistry and biology at SWOSU. He resides in Edmond and is the proud father of two sons, Kennan and Jett. The Conways attend Memorial Road Church of Christ.

Board of Trustees Chair Bryan Evans (SWOSU Class of 1998) of Edmond. “Bryce’s diverse experiences and expertise will help the Foundation to fulfill its purpose of advancing SWOSU during the university’s second century.”

Conway has been assigned to the Foundation Scholarships & Grants Committee and the Development Committee.

The SWOSU Foundation was founded in 1977 to promote philanthropy, award scholarships, and distribute funds to support the activities and programs of SWOSU. Located on the Weatherford campus in the historic Burton House, the Foundation currently stewards nearly $37 million for the benefit of SWOSU.
