Beckham Co. Deputy OK After Head On Collision

A Beckham County Sheriff’s Deputy was not seriously injured after being involved in a head on collision.

According to Sheriff Derek Manning the accident occurred north east of Erick while the deputy was investigating a report of a person possibly illegally hunting at night with a spotlight.

Sheriff Manning says the driver was arrested by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol on suspicion of drunk driving.
