More charges have been filed against the Clinton man accused of arson and aggravated assault and battery.

Formal charges of first-degree arson, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and three counts of malicious injury to property over $1,000 were filed earlier this week in Custer County District Court against 49-year-old Tuhtaka Wilson.

Authorities have been looking for Wilson since last Friday.

According to a probable cause affidavit, a female victim would tell authorities that while putting her 10-year-old to bed she heard a loud crash. A short time later her boyfriend would yell that the house was on fire. The woman would grab the child and run out of the house, however her ex-boyfriend, Wilson was outside.

The court document stated that Wilson would hit the woman with a baseball bat while she was running with her daughter in her arms. Wilson would allegedly hit the woman several times that caused injuries to the woman. The child would be hit on the hand, however her injuries appeared to be minor. The female victim would ultimately need four staples to close a wound on the back of her head.

During the incident, Wilson would also allegedly vandalize two vehicles at the property.

While speaking with the victim’s boyfriend, he would tell authorities that he discovered that windows had been shattered to the home, and would later discover the fire outside – in which him and another man attempted to put the fire out. While doing so, two bottles of lighter fluid were discovered outside of the home.

As of press time Wilson has not been arrested and is considered to be armed and dangerous. Authorities ask that if anyone has any information leading to his arrest to contact local authorities.
