SWOSU Press Release

The Miss Southwestern Scholarship Pageant Board at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) would like to extend an invitation to young girls aged 5 – 10 to participate in our mentoring program, Miss SWOSU’s Little Stars. The Miss SWOSU Pageant is scheduled for Saturday, November 11 at 7 p.m. in the SWOSU Fine Arts Center.

The application and entry fee of $50 are both due on Thursday, October 5.

The Miss SWOSU’s Little Stars program offers a great opportunity for young girls to receive mentoring and guidance from the Miss SWOSU contestants. The Little Star contestants will also have the opportunity to be on stage alongside other contestants during the evening wear competition.

The Little Stars will receive their own crown, an official t-shirt, a group photo, and a complimentary pageant admission ticket. They will also be invited to join all the pageant contestants at a fun bowling party on Sunday, October 22 at Southwestern Lanes.

For further details, contact the Co-Directors of the Miss SWOSU program, Ellen Hamburger-Moi or Tia Sauer-Blanchard at missswosu@swosu.edu.
