CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT
USGA Rules govern all play where applicable with the modification of the following Tournament Rules:
GENERAL:
- SCORECARDS MUST BE EXCHANGED WITH OTHER TEAM IN PAIRING!
- No Club Limit.
- Distance devices permitted (if device measures other than distance, extra features must be turned off.)
- Except for relief situations under USGA Rules, it is not allowed to change surfaces for any shot (fairway to rough, rough to fairway, fringe to green, etc)
- Non Amateur players NOT eligible for insured prizes.
- No practice shots allowed. NO MULLIGANS
- KEEP UP WITH THE GROUP AHEAD OF YOU.
- All new, staked trees are “temporary” obstructions.
- Play ball up in your own fairway, down everywhere else.
If out of fairway, original ball is played as it lies, rest of team members drop their ball within one club
length, without changing surfaces, and then play it as it lies. Improving line of play prohibited (i.e.
if ball is behind tree, tree must remain in play)
No Gimmies!! Putt everything Out!!
Penalty Areas: All penalty areas are considered lateral (red line). Tall Grassed “island” areas “(Native Areas”) on #5, #6, #8, #13, #14, #11, #18 are lateral penalty areas.
Out of bounds: all fence around the course.
Ground Under Repair: Marked with solid white line.
Obstructions include all staked trees..
TEES: – BLACK
–Tie Breaker: (all paying places): Sudden Death begins on hole #18. Each team will establish an order of play for the entirety of the playoff. The format will be true alternate shot (ie.. if player 3 holes a putt, player 4 tees off on the next hole). All putts will be holed in the playoff. All 4 players will continue until a winner is determined. Hole rotation: 18 & 10
