Route 66 Fest Returns to Elk City for Father's Day Weekend Fun

Elk City, OK — The Route 66 Fest is rolling back into Elk City for a weekend packed with entertainment, food, and community celebration just in time for Father’s Day.

Hosted at Ackley Park on Friday and Saturday, June 13 and 14, the event kicks off with a Friday night Block Party from 5 to 9 PM. Local favorite Kyler Smith opens the evening with a live performance from 5 to 6:30 PM, setting the stage for the Council Hill Band’s “Dad Rock Night” from 7 to 9 PM.

Visitors can enjoy food trucks, vendors, and inflatables throughout the evening. Additional Friday activities include a car cruise from 8 to 10 PM and a museum photo op at 7:30 PM. Park activities will remain open, and a late-night swim adds to the family-friendly fun.

Saturday’s festivities run from 9 AM to 3 PM and feature a car show, art show, more food trucks, music, inflatables, and vendor booths—offering something for everyone.

The event is organized by the Elk City Chamber of Commerce and is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to promote tourism and community engagement. With free activities, local flavor, and live music, Route 66 Fest is shaping up to be a must-attend celebration in Western Oklahoma.
