
Beckham County, OK – One person was injured in a single vehicle collision early Sunday morning in Beckham County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 3:22 a.m. on December 28 on westbound Interstate 40 near mile marker 13 at County Road 1810.
Troopers say a commercial motor vehicle traveling westbound on I-40 departed the roadway to the left, crossed the median, went down an embankment, and struck a guardrail on County Road 1810.
The driver, 60-year-old Mark E. Paige of Coffeyville, Oklahoma, was injured in the crash. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured.
No fatalities were reported, and next of kin have been notified. The crash remains under investigation by Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troop H.
