During the latest meeting of the Elk City Commission, a new parks project was approved that will be funded by CAPPs dollars.

City Manager Tom Ivester says the Commission approved a design build agreement between the City and American Ramp Company to build the Elk City Pump Track.

Ivester added that the Arrowhead Center came in $600,000 under budget and said due to the funds being designated for parks improvement, those funds will be spent on parks projects only.

Ivester said the Pump Track will not exceed more than $160,000.
