Oklahoma City, OK – The latest sales tax report is in, reflecting actual sales from June 16 to 30 and estimated sales from July 1 to 15. Compared to the same period in 2024, most area towns posted gains — with a few exceptions.
Elk City led the region in total collections with $1,429,800.20, an 8.8% increase over last year. Weatherford saw a modest 1.3% bump, bringing in $1,082,655.48. Clinton’s numbers dipped slightly by 1.2%, collecting $562,475.21.
By comparison, Altus and Woodward both posted solid gains — Altus up 7.4% to $1,164,393.27, and Woodward up 7.6% to $1,153,045.91. Sayre saw a sharper drop, down 8.7% at $123,674.61.
Smaller communities in the area saw Sayre down 8.7% at $123,674.61. Mangum had the largest percentage jump, climbing 25% to $60,842.51. Cordell also saw a healthy increase of 2.9%, with $99,092.51 collected.
Statewide, Oklahoma brought in $253,345,460.97, a 7.8% year-over-year increase.
