Thomas, OK – An investigation is underway after a reported sexual assault at Thomas-Fay-Custer High school in Custer County.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is reviewing the allegations, while Thomas-Fay-Custer Schools notified families with a letter last week. Officials confirmed an incident occurred last Monday but did not share details.
According to Superintendent Rob Friesen, the district has already conducted its own review and is working with law enforcement.
“The district has taken appropriate action in line with policy and will continue to cooperate fully,” Friesen said. “We know safety is on everyone’s mind, and it remains our top priority. I hope our swift response shows that we take all reports seriously, and I encourage anyone with concerns to report them to school personnel.”
