An Elk City man was arrested and charged last week after an investigation revealed that the man allegedly possessed juvenile pornography.

According to the probable cause affidavit, 30-year-old Kameron Sharod Harrison was arrested on January 27 after detectives concluded during their investigation that the suspect was in contact with a 16-year-old female through social media.

Authorities were made aware of the possible inappropriate conversations between the defendant and the minor by the girl’s parents on January 19. The court document stated that the parents gave investigators the minor’s cell phone, where authorities were able to determine that Harrison had allegedly saved three inappropriate photos of the victim.

Harrison received three felony charges of procure, produce, distribute, or possession of juvenile pornography on January 25 in Beckham County District Court.

Court records show Harrison was arrested on January 27, and bond was set at $50,000.
