Officials remind residents that were affected by the May 19-28 storms and tornadoes to apply now for FEMA assistance.

Residents eligible for assistance include those affected by those storms that struck Blaine, Caddo, Custer, and Jackson Counties.

FEMA officials say the deadline to apply for assistance is August 14. To apply, go to

DisasterAssistance.gov, download the FEMA App, call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362, or find a Disaster Recovery Center at fema.gov/drc.

Other counties with the August 14 deadline include Delaware, Mayes, Muskogee, and Rogers counties.
