Fairview Elementary in Elk City has a new owner.

During the regular meeting of the Elk City School Board Monday night, the board approved the bid for the sale of the property located at 1502 W. 7th Street to Elk City businessman Joe D. Hall.

Superintendent Mike Sparks says the approved bid was for $100,000 – however the contract for the sale still needs adjusted.

Sparks said that the wrestling program will be moved into the Middle School Gym.

Sparks said Fairview has mostly remained vacant since the construction and opening of Elk City Elementary in 2017.

It was not indicated what the building will be used for by it’s new owner.
