Elk City, OK — The streets of downtown Elk City will come alive with celebration on Thursday, August 1, 2025, as the city hosts its annual Block Party from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. The free event, presented by the Elk City Chamber of Commerce, promises an evening packed with entertainment, community engagement, and family fun.
Live music will fill the air with performances from local artists. Nikki Jackson is scheduled to kick things off at 5:00 p.m., followed by Bottom of the Barrel taking the stage at 7:00 p.m. Music will continue throughout the evening until 9:00 p.m.
The Block Party also includes a special First Responders Meet & Greet, giving families the chance to interact with local heroes in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. Food trucks will be on hand serving up a variety of delicious eats, and inflatables will keep the kids entertained.
Coinciding with Oklahoma’s Tax-Free Weekend, many downtown shops will stay open late, offering visitors the opportunity to shop and save while enjoying the festivities.
Additional highlights include the Elk City Farmer’s Market, and a community food drive sponsored by HELP Inc. Residents are encouraged to “Fill a Cop Car” with non-perishable items to support those in need.
Whether you’re there for the food, the music, or to meet your local first responders, Elk City’s Block Party offers something for everyone. Don’t miss this night of summer fun and community spirit in the heart of downtown.
