Elk City Sales Tax Up Again

The latest sales tax numbers are in for the City of Elk City and once again they look solid.

The latest report showed that the city collected just over $1.2 million dollars in sales tax thanks in large part, according to City Manager Tom Ivester, due to inflation.

This round of sales tax represents a 6% increase when compared to a year ago.

The report came during the latest meeting of the Elk City Commission.
