Crews from the Elk City Fire Department responded to a trailer home fire at Potter’s Trailer Park on the west side of Elk City late Friday morning.

Fire Chief Kyle Chervenka says as a result a male juvenile had to be hospitalized with burns to his legs.

Chief Chervenka said the cause of the fire that started at around 11:12 a.m. Friday is still under investigation but said it does appear that it originated in the living room area and was unintentional.

He said the trailer was a total loss and no other structures were involved.
