Elk City, OK – Elk City’s annual 4th of July celebration is set for Friday at Ackley Park, promising a full day of family fun, summer attractions, and a grand fireworks display to cap off the night.

Daytime activities begin with park attractions open from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., and the Aquatic Center splashing into action from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the rides, games, and water activities throughout the day.

Personal fireworks are permitted only in designated green zones from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Red and orange areas are off-limits and will be enforced for public safety. Attendees are urged to review the city’s fireworks map to avoid restricted areas.

The City’s official fireworks show will light up the sky around 10:00 p.m. For the best view, head to the yellow-marked areas on the map. Bring your chairs, blankets, and loved ones to enjoy the show safely.

Elk City officials remind everyone to follow safety guidelines and respect designated zones. Whether cooling off at the pool, lighting sparklers, or watching the big show, Elk City invites all to celebrate the Fourth in style.
