During the latest regular meeting of the Elk City Commission, city leaders received a presentation from the Director of the Arrowhead Center Matt Bradshaw regarding the handling of cash and membership rates.

City Manager Tom Ivester says currently the venue is cashless, but after much discussion, it appears the Arrowhead center will prepare to take cash along with credit cards.

Currently the Arrowhead Center is open and free to use by the public, however Ivester did say that fees to use the facility will go into affect on January 1. He said the City did research current fees at other facilities that are comparable in size, and said that the Arrowhead Center’s fees will be considerably lower by comparison.
